How
to be a New Member?
Application
for membership must be made on the following prescribed forms.
An annual subscription is payable by each member
at the time of election of membership and thereafter on January 1 each year.
The Council is empowered under the Institute's Memorandum and Articles of
Association to determine from time to time, admission fee, annual subscription
and other fees. Top
How to Qualify for an Upgrade?
As you advance in your career and knowledge, you can also progress to more senior membership categories that reflect on your new qualification, expertise and experience. You may have unknowingly qualified to be upgraded to a more advanced membership category. Click here to view the progression chart to find out if you qualify for an upgrade.

How to Change Your Membership Category?
If your career has moved from the non-financial services industry to the financial services industry or vice-versa and you wish to change to the appropriate category, just complete the relevant application form (the membership category you are applying for) and tick the box that indicates you are changing category.

to Renew Your Membership?
The annual subscription is due on January 1 of each year. Renewal notices will be sent to all members in December with the relevant information and a payment slip to enclose your payment.
You can also renew your membership subscription by completing the form below and submitting the requisite fee payment to our corporate address (available on the form).

How
to Reinstate Your Membership?
De-registered members can reinstate their membership by paying a reinstatement fee and the current year's subscription. Effective November 1, 2007, the reinstatement policy is as follows:
1 st Reinstatement
Current year's subscription + RM30 reinstatement fee
Subsequent Reinstatement
Current year's subscription + reinstatement fee as follows:
- 1 – 3 years lapsed mship RM60
- 4 – 6 years lapsed mship RM90
- 7 – 9 years lapsed mship RM120
- 10 years & above lapsed mship RM150
Please note that
reinstatements of membership do not entitle members to retrospective benefits.
To apply for reinstatement, complete the relevant application form (the membership category you are applying for) and tick the box that indicates you are applying to reinstate. Please submit copies of any new qualifications you have obtained since your deregistration. Return the completed form to the Institute with the requisite payment. (see Membership Fee Structure)

How to Update Your Membership Records?
It is important that the Institute maintains
updated records of its members particulars. This
will assist us to serve you better. Please notify us of any changes
in your personal particulars, especially,
changes in your correspondence address and/or change in employer. You may do
this via email or mail. Alternatively,
complete the form below and fax it to us at 03-20952322.
(Please highlight your membership number
on each communication you make with the Institute). You may also
update us when you visit us.
