Syuen Hotel Ipoh became the venue for IBBM-ABM Perak Financial Institution Dinner 2008 held on 31st October 2009 with the theme gold and black. Encik Kamaruddin Ali (Manager Learning Solution 1, IBBM) represented Dr. Mohd Kamal Khir, Chief Executive Officer of IBBM. Also present were Mr. Wong Peng Wan representative of Ms. Sherine Lee Guat Tin (Chairman of Association of Bank in Malaysia Subcommittee Perak), Mr. Nancee L. Vincent (Chairman of IBBM State Advisory Committee Perak), IBBM Perak State Advisory Committees and Association of Bank in Malaysia (Perak) subcommittee members.
Bankers were treated with humorous jokes by the emcee Mr. Pillay during the dinner. Various bankers showed their singing skills via Inter-Bank Karaoke Song Competition. Before the end of the dinner, lucky draws were drawn for the bankers participating in the dinner.
