15 July 2008 Institute of Bankers Malaysia (IBBM) has appointed Mr. Lee Khee Joo as the Head of Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) with effect from July 9, 2008. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from University of Malaysa and an MBA from University of Queensland , Australia . He is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Britain . In addition, he is also a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants as well as the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has had wide and varied experience in banking and financial sector with his 33-year stint in the industry. He was attached to Bank Negara for 23 years and has held various senior positions in the former Pacific Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad and other institutions. |
