Holiday Villa Alor Setar was selected as the venue for IBBM-ABM Kedah Financial Institution Dinner 2008 on 3rd December 2008 with the theme red and black. The guest of honour for the event was Dr. Mohd Kamal Khir, Chief Executive Officer of IBBM. Also present were Mr. Ang Yu Sun (Chairman of Association of Bank in Malaysia Subcommittee Kedah), Mr. Chang Tow Heng representative of Puan Soffiah Yakob (Chairman of IBBM State Advisory Committee Kedah), Pn. Juliana Dato’ Othman Said (Head of Learning, Education and Development Division, IBBM), IBBM Kedah State Advisory Committee and Association of Bank in Malaysia (Kedah) subcommittee members.

Bankers were treated with songs by the emcee Ms Jenny Loh while they were served the chinese course Dinner. A karaoke song competition and lucky draw for the bankers were done during the dinner.
